TPG Case Studies

TPG Partners are involved in every aspect of your promotional campaign, including design. Whether its creating a simple design for a promotional item or selecting the best promotional piece to convey your message, we have the talent and experience to do the job. Below is just a sample of some of the work we have done.

Tice McNinch
One of our primary goals is to help our clients “own the desk” with branded items that are so fun and unique, they earn a place of honor in a prospect’s office.

For Tice McNinch, an employee benefits company, we carried through on a concept known as Donut Man. The client wanted to stand apart from the benefits guys who only show up once a year with a box of donuts and a pen to sign on the dotted line. Our Donut Man bobble head — complete with the tagline “Stop the Donut” — was a custom product designed and developed with the creative director of Corporate Creative.

We sourced the manufacturer and came up with a surprisingly cost-effective solution, one that positions our client as creative, innovative, one of a kind … and comparatively low in calories.

MassMutual Life Insurance Company
A few days at the beach – so simple, so relaxing. The planning? Anything but. That’s why MassMutual turned to Thunder Road to coordinate its annual high-profile Broker Breakaway at Kiawah Island, South Carolina. We handled every detail, from selecting the site to choosing the tropical theme to hosting all receptions to assembling tote bags full of high-quality giveaway items. Most “impressive” of all was a pair of durable flip-flops with the MassMutual logo recessed into the sole, temporarily turning miles of sandy beach into a walking corporate billboard.

United Computer Group
Looks Like a Laptop .... But It's Really a T-Shirt
This computer company sells all product relative to the IBM I series. When they wanted a unique product that could deliver their message, "Everything I", we created the Everything I T-Shirt. Team Promotions took their about page made some adjustments and replicated it on the computer replica packaging. Then we added a custom T-shirt to the package. This was a highly successful campaign that helped the vendor break out of the pack with their corporate prospects.
